About
The R2R4R project supported and empowered refugees and their support practitioners by providing the necessary knowledge, tools, and skills to navigate difficult circumstances and successfully integrate into European host communities. Through a cross-border partnership between Germany, Spain, and Denmark, the initiative achieved several key milestones:
- Training Programme: Developed six theoretical modules focused on emotional resilience and common European values to foster personal growth and social inclusion.
- Support Toolkit: Created a set of 12 practical tools and resources for refugee support practitioners to facilitate effective integration strategies.
- Capacity Building: Conducted a face-to-face Learning, Teaching, and Training Activity (LTTA) in Spain to enhance the professional development of humanitarian workers and educators.
- Civic Engagement: Promoted active citizenship and awareness, addressing the refugee crisis as a shared social challenge while combating discrimination and xenophobia.
This project utilized non-formal education and digital tools to bridge the gap between immediate relief and long-term resilience, ensuring refugees became active, contributing members of society.
